Seven Minutes in Heaven
About The Film
A young Jerusalem woman struggles to reclaim her memory after a horrific suicide bombing in SEVEN MINUTES IN HEAVEN, a brilliantly crafted psychological thriller with deep emotional undercurrents. Galia (a mesmerizing Reymond Amsellem) is piecing her life back together after a bus bombing that left her clinically dead for seven minutes. One year after the attack, her physical and psychological scars remain. But her desire to heal and unlock the past is spurred by the appearance of a handsome stranger (Eldad Prives), and a cherished necklace mysteriously returned to her by an unidentified sender. What follows is a maze of investigations, hallucinations and flashbacks, culminating in a startling revelation in the film's final act. The cleverly constructed debut feature of director Omri Givon, SEVEN MINUTES IN HEAVEN is a sensitive and haunting meditation on the trauma endured by terrorism survivors.
