About The Film
After his marriage goes bust, a professional gambler bluffing his way through life gets an unexpected second chance at love in the latest romantic comedy from celebrated Argentine auteur Daniel Burman (Lost Embrace), often dubbed the Woody Allen of Latin America.
In his acting debut, Oscar-winning songwriter Jorge Drexler plays Uriel Cohan, a slightly neurotic financier, divorced dad, poker player and hustler whose luck is running out. Just as he undergoes a vasectomy and sets out to enjoy his newfound freedom, Uriel runs into his world-weary old flame Gloria (Argentine Film Critics Association award winner Valeria Bertuccelli), igniting an on-again, off-again relationship. Mirroring the Jewish culture and frenetic urban lifestyle of Buenos Aires, ALL IN has all the hallmarks of Burman’s signature style: a slightly offbeat mix of naturalistic performances, convoluted complications, poignant themes and biting humor.
Winner of the Tribeca Film Festival Best Narrative Feature Screenplay Award.
