When the curtain rises and the lights dim for the opening of the 2013 Atlanta Jewish Film Festival - actually, before the curtain rises and the lights dim - the packed house at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre will be entertained by two klezmer bands.

In a partnership with the Atlanta Jewish Music Festival, this live entertainment will delight patrons of our Opening Night before the film actually begins. It's part of the incredibly experience we aspire to provide, and we couldn't have accomplished it without our friends at AJMF.

The music festival, in its 4th year, is actually opening shortly after the film festival wraps. Running from March 14-16, AJMF has already put tickets on sale.

This year, Lisa Loeb and the Nine Stories will be headlining AJMF with a performance at Variety Playhouse on Saturday evening, March 16. She'll be joined by opening acts Electra, Saul Kaye, and DJ Mike Zarin.

Other highlights include a special Shabbat service with musicians from Congregation Bet Haverim and Ahavah Achim Synagogue and a jazz night with the Michael Feinberg Quintet and Jordan Dayan & Friends.

The Atlanta Jewish Music Festival is an incredible event, a true partner festival, and a wonderful complement to AJFF. It is an important part of Atlanta's Jewish community, and we encourage all our patrons to continue the celebration of Jewish culture into March. Get your tickets now.
