Festival Survival Tip: Pick Films Based on Genre or Subject

Can’t figure out what to see? We get it. There are so many choices! So narrow them down. Did you know that you can easily cross-reference films by genre or subject matter to find what suits your tastes and interests?

We have so many categories to choose from. Examples include American Jewish Life, Suspenseful Stories, and Classic Cinema. The truth is that you won't go wrong with any of the films at AJFF, but our categories are a great place to start. You can even sort by country of production, whether a film is a documentary or narrative, and even which theaters the films are playing in.

Just go to our films listing and use the filters at the top of the page to start sorting those 77 films into a more manageable batch. Just get your tickets as early as you can. They go quick!
